Last Friday, PYP1 students had a task to come to school dressed as a community helper - ANY community helper (they got to decide which one).

Their costume should have been obvious (which community worker/helper they were). They bought many props and did some serious research! 

Each student needed to present his/her costume in a few very simple sentences: why you chose to be this exact community helper; what does that person do for the community; do they have some rules on their work/job; do they have any responsibilities, and which ones.

We saw some excellent costumes, and many DIYs (paper hats, printed props…). We want to thank our students and parents for putting quite a lot into it.
