As part of their unit on Jobs, PYP2 students had an exciting week of learning, thanks to visits from some very special guests! A pilot, a flight attendant, and two dentists—all parents of PYP2 students—came to share insights into their professions.

During the visits, the pilot and flight attendant spoke about life in the skies, explaining how planes work, what it takes to ensure passenger safety, and the skills required for a career in aviation. The students were fascinated to learn about the different roles that make air travel possible.

The two dentists shared the importance of dental hygiene and how they help people keep their teeth and gums healthy. With a hands-on demonstration of dental tools, the students gained a new appreciation for taking care of their own teeth!

These presentations gave students an engaging, real-world look at various professions, deepening their understanding of the different jobs that help our communities thrive.
