Peer-to-Peer Learning – Unique Geography lessons
Collaborative learning among students in the international and national programme
In an exciting classroom exchange, students from MYP3 class took on the role of teachers and presented their findings on various geography topics to 7th graders in the national programme. This approach enhances their learning experience and fosters collaboration.
Debate MYP3 and 8ac
Croatian and Theatre had two lessons together in the MYP3 class, which was mixed with Croatian students participating in the school debate club.
Great success at the Italian Language Competition
Sara Z. (MYP3) successfully passed the school Italian Language competition and qualified for the Italian Language Competition of the City of Zagreb, scheduled for March 6th, 2025. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Sara and her Italian teacher, Ms. Jelena Rimay, for their excellent achievements.
We wish Sara all the best of luck in the next round of the competition!
The Renaissance Day in MYP3
For this year's School day, Croatian Language and Literature and Croatian Language Acquisition MYP 3 students, along with their teachers Mirjana Blažičko and Barbara Čičmak participated in a Renaissance fair in the main hall.
The students prepared a Renaissance dining room. They explored recipes, researched the time period, created posters and decorations, and cooked dishes.
Field trip to Papuk Nature Park
At the beginning of October, MYP3 students went on a field trip to one of Slavonia’s favourite excursion sites – Papuk Nature Park, the first (and only) Croatian UNESCO Global Geopark.
During our trip, we explored the Park's key biological, geological, and cultural historical sites. Our adventure began at Duboka Adrenaline Park, where we engaged in a variety of sports activities. After lunch, we continued our exploration in Jankovac Forest Park, taking a guided walking tour along the Count’s Educational Trail.
Community Projects 2023/2024
The MYP3 students successfully completed their community projects for this school year. Through a thorough investigation and service action, they addressed the needs of various communities. The students have acted as exceptional ambassadors in their community, showcasing their ability to represent the school with pride and dignity.
