Thank You Note - MYP Action for the Children’s Home

Dear Parents and Students,

We would like to thank you for your kindness, generosity and commitment that you put into making the humanitarian action for the Children's Home 'Alojzije Stepinac' such a huge success.

ZOO and Maksimir

On December 16th we visited the ZOO. We vividly experienced the sights, sounds and thrills of the ZOO and felt a connection with wildlife.

Jumping with excitement the students witnessed numerous animals - from lions to sea lions, zebras, wolves, tigers, lynxes, deer, rabbits, meerkats, alligators, crocodiles, etc.

Advent time in MYP

During the Advent time, we are working on a festive atmosphere in school using the decorations that our students have diligently designed during the Visual Art classes.

Hiking Tour in the Medvednica Nature Park

On November 25th we went on a hiking tour in the Medvednica Nature Park. Before heading out to the mountain the representatives of the ‘Medvednica Nature Park’ Public Institution welcomed us warmly and explained us the hiking etiquette guidelines with a focus on a leave-no-trace environmental protection philosophy.

International Celebration Week

This week we celebrated the variety of cultures, heritages and backgrounds that each student brought to our unique community. Our students took us on a trip around the world to visit many countries.

Field trip to Gorski kotar

On October 23rd we went on a field trip to Gorski kotar where we visited the Stara Sušica Castle in Ravna Gora and the town of Fužine.
