How Healthy are Your Classmates’ Habits
As a part of our Unit of Inquiry, Who we are: Healthy life could be a choice, we had to inquire about how healthy our classmates’ habits are.
In order to do that, the teacher gave us a questionnaire with a table. We first had to find six class friends and ask them some questions. We learned that the process is actually called Collecting data, and it is closely connected with Mathematics.
Now this was an opportunity to talk a lot with our friends. Teachers couldn’t mind as it was a part of the assignment.
How often do you drink fizzy drinks? Eat fruit? And vegetables? Eat cakes and sweets? And do exercise?
After collecting the data, we had to interpret and present it. Not an easy job, but we were more than successful. At least that’s what our teachers say.
We found out a lot about each other’s healthy habits and learned that eating sweets and cakes is not that bad as long as you do exercises regularly.
Go ahead, try it for yourself.
