Celebrating Home Languages on the occasion of International Mother Language Day
From February 23rd to 27th, our school celebrated International Mother Language Day. To honour this occasion, our community came together through a week of activities that showcased our linguistic and cultural diversity. Both parents and students contributed by leading cultural presentations, highlighting the importance of preserving our home languages.
Participation in the FIRST LEGO League Competition in Pula
On Saturday, 7 February, students from our school participated in the FIRST LEGO League competition held in Pula.
Valentine’s Shadow Box Hearts Exhibition
The tradition of preserving memories in decorative boxes dates back to the Victorian era, when beautifully crafted heart-shaped chocolate boxes were often saved to hold letters and small treasures.
Happy 85th Birthday to Our School!
In honor of our school’s 85th birthday, all PYP classes took part in creative and engaging activities to show their appreciation for our wonderful school.
World Read Aloud Day 2026
World Read Aloud Day (WRAD) is celebrated on the first Wednesday of February and was marked this year on February 4th, 2026, in Croatia. Our students spent the day celebrating the joy of reading by listening to their teachers read aloud and by reading aloud to one another.
Valentine's Mail
February 14th is, as you all know, Valentine's Day. All those who are happily or unhappily in love, have a crush or a friend to whom they want to say something beautiful, can do that again through our good old Valentine's mail.
