PYP 4 Exhibition Highlights Health and Well-Being 2026

On May 27, 2026, the creative and ambitious PYP 4 students held their Exhibition in the school courtyard.

MYP2 and MYP3 Field Trip to Southern Dalmatia

From May 19th to 22nd, MYP2 and MYP3 students took part in a four-day field trip to Southern Dalmatia. Travelling by plane and staying in Cavtat, we explored some of the region’s most important cultural, historical, and natural landmarks while learning outside the classroom. During the trip, we visited Dubrovnik, Lokrum, the Elafiti Islands and Konavle, learning more about the region’s rich heritage, geography, and traditions.

MYP0 and MYP1 Field Trip to Istria

From May 13th to 15th, MYP0 and MYP1 students went on a three-day field trip to Istria. During our trip, we experienced truffle hunting and traditional Istrian cuisine, explored the historic towns of Motovun and Poreč, took a boat ride through the stunning Lim Bay, and challenged ourselves with water skiing and wakeboarding in Pula.

Sports day 2026

As every year, we will once again be holding Sports Day at Matija Gubec International School on Tuesday, May 26th, 2026.

We invite you to join us for a parent vs. teacher American dodgeball game at 1:45 PM.

Students Explore Šibenik and the Dalmatian Islands

PYP0, PYP1, and PYP2 students enjoyed a memorable three-day educational field trip to Solaris in Šibenik. Staying at Hotel Andrija, students took part in a variety of exciting activities that combined learning, exploration, and fun.

PYP3 & PYP4’s Educational Field Trip to Rovinj

Our PYP3 and PYP4 students enjoyed an exciting four-day educational field trip to Rovinj and the Istrian Peninsula, from 12th to 15th of May.  Staying at Maistra Select Family Hotel Amarin, students combined learning, exploration, sports, and fun while creating lasting memories together.
