MYP0 and MYP1 Field Trip to Northern Dalmatia
From May 14th to 16th, we went on a three-day field trip to Northern Dalmatia. We enjoyed a boat cruise through the Biograd Aquatorium, explored the unspoiled nature of Paklenica National Park on a Jeep Safari Tour, hunted for treasure in Zadar’s Old Town, and visited Vrana Lake Nature Park.
Backstage Tour of the Croatian National Theatre
On April 30th, 2025, MYP0 and MYP1 students visited the Croatian National Theatre for an expert-guided backstage tour. First, we explored the actors’ changing rooms and went beneath the stage to see the mechanisms behind the plays’ special effects - such as small elevators that lift actors and props on and off the stage, and a carousel that can rotate during performances.

In their literature class, MYP0 Croatian Language and Literature students explored the fairy tale Bajka o ribaru i ribici by Russian author Alexander Pushkin.
Lecture on the animal life and nature protection of Medvednica
On March 21st, just a week after our clean-up initiative in Vukov Dol, Ms. Tajana Ćurić, a representative from the ‘Nature Park Medvednica' Public Institution, visited our school to give an informative lecture on nature conservation and wildlife.
Visit to the Trešnja City Theatre
On January 23rd, MYPO and MYP1 students visited the Trešnja City Theatre to watch the play “Dražen”. The play was based on the life of Dražen Petrović, the most famous Croatian basketball player.
Learning through model making
We believe that the best way to visualise is to create a model or representation of the relief parts we learn.
