Klokan Competition 2022

Klokan Competition 2022

The International Association "Klokan bez granica" brings together representatives of more than 80 countries. Its goal is to popularize mathematics and develop an interest in mathematics and natural sciences. The competition is held every year on the third Thursday in March.

In the competition, students solve 12 or 24 tasks with 5 answers offered, of which only one is correct. Students of the second and third grades of primary school (categories Pčelica and Leptirić) solve 12 tasks in 60 minutes. Students in other grades of primary and secondary school solve 24 tasks in 75 minutes.

Every student who enters the competition receives a "gift for all" - a cake, a calendar and a ballpoint pen. The most successful 10% of students also receive an award.

This year we are glad to say that our students have had remarkable results. In the group Leptirići, our PYP3 student, Nidhi Booth, is first with all 60 points. Her classmates, Viktoria Muftić and Luka Remenar, are at 18th and 21st place with excellent 45 and 43,75 points. All three of them are in the 10% of the most successful students in that group.

In the group Pčelice, our PYP2 students, Toma Štefanek and Iman Hodžić, achieved desirable results. Toma is at the 6th spot with 53,75 and Iman at 14th place with 50 points.

Well done to all of our students! We are very proud of all of you who participated. :)
