On Wednesday, 11th of May, PYP0, 1, and 2 students went on a three-day field trip to Solaris, Šibenik.
We started our exciting trip with an entertaining mini-golf competition. Some of our students have shown great potential in this game. After mini-golf, we went for a walk and dipped our feet in the sea. On the beach, we made some lifelong memories.
The next day we went on a boat ride from Solaris to Šibenik. Šibenik is the oldest native Croatian city on the Adriatic. The view from the boat of the town of Šibenik is unique. In Šibenik we had an organized guided tour and saw the Cathedral of St James. After the walk, we enjoyed the ice cream on the streets of Šibenik and had time to buy some souvenirs for our friends and family at home. When we came back from Šibenik, we had disco night and danced until nighttime.
On the third, and last, day we visited the famous Falcon Centre. That is the only center in Croatia where you can see different kinds of birds of prey. During this program, we heard many facts about the birds of prey and came eye to eye with these incredible sky hunters.
After lunch, we headed home. Since, for most of us, this was the first trip without family, we can conclude it all went smoothly and our teachers are very proud of all of us.
