On Monday, the 13th of June, PYP classes went on a field trip to Stara Sušica! They visited the “Large Carnivorous” Visitor Center.

Inside the centre, they learned a lot about the three large animals that live in Gorski kotar: wolf, bear, and lynx. Inside the visitor centre, they could try out different interactive materials such as VR glasses, and headphones to hear the howls of animals and smell the catnip that lynxes love so dearly.

After lunch inside the historic castle, we spent our afternoon playing together, singing songs, and enjoying the beautiful weather! We hope to go on many more fun field trips next school year! :D
