On September 30th all the MYP students visited the KinoKino-International Film Festival for Children to watch the movie ‘Captain Nova’ in the Kinoteka Cinema. The International Film Festival for Children features a rich selection of award-winning international films for children. ‘Captain Nova’ is a Dutch science fiction movie. The movie is about a fighter pilot named Nova and her flying robot ADD who travelled 25 years back in time to prevent an environmental disaster. Unfortunately nobody in the past takes her mission seriously except a 15-year-old boy named Nas. The two team up to save the future world.

The idea of the movie was fantastic, but the story could have been laid out in a more interesting way. Will Nova succeed in saving the world?  Find out on your own!
