On December 15th as a part of the Service as Action activities, the MYP  class representatives visited the Children’s Home “Alojzije Stepinac” carrying the Christmas gifts generously donated by the students, parents and teachers of our school during the month of December.

We were kindly welcomed and had a tour during which we were able to see their classrooms, gym, arts room, crafts room and relaxing room. After the tour during which we met some of the children there, we participated in the Art workshops and made some Christmas decorations side by side with children there. The children we met there were very kind and with smiles on their faces. We were touched to see with how much care and love the children were surrounded by.

We would like to thank all the PYP and MYP students, their parents and teachers for all their efforts and commitment they put into making this humanitarian action such a huge success. We would also like to thank the Children's Home staff - Ms. Ana and Ms. Ružica for their warm welcome and support. We will definitely cherish this tradition of cooperation with the Children’s Home.
