The Wizard of Oz wisely said: "It's not where you go, it's who you meet along the way." These words greatly emphasise the extensive process of a dedicated and joint work of our students in scenography making, costume designing, acting, singing and dancing. The Wizard of Oz show performed on December 20th has been the result of a great dedication of all of us, the students, passionately led and directed by our Arts teachers – Ms. Barbara, Ms. Ivana, Ms. Nikolina and Ms. Antea.

On the eve of the Winter Season festivities, along the way, we met quite a merry bunch, trying to find their way home, but also finding out something about themselves at this peaceful and reflective time of the year, something they had simply not been aware of. 

As Dorothy has said: "There's no place like home!", so at the end of the year, the whole Matija Gubec family wishes you all the best and may your homes be filled with, not only joy and happiness this holiday season, but also with tolerance, patience and understanding, in the year to come.
