These days we have been witnessing an enormous tragedy that has struck the Republic of Türkiye and the Syrian Arab Republic, after a series of devastating earthquakes have left thousands and thousands of people without their loved ones, their homes, and basic life necessities.

We ourselves have recently witnessed and experienced earthquakes in Zagreb, Sisak, and Petrinja and deeply sympathize with the Turkish and Syrian people.

We are very well aware that any aid to the people of Türkiye and Syria is necessary for the days and weeks to come and that offering and giving help in these circumstances is a universal human urge and moral responsibility.
