Trip to Solaris

Trip to Solaris

Our PYP 0, 1, and 2 classes recently embarked on a three-day trip to Solaris, Šibenik. The journey began on Monday, May 22nd at 9 a.m., as students gathered in front of the school. After arriving and enjoying a delicious lunch, they participated in a variety of activities, including a mini-golf course and a visit to a charming Dalmatian village.

The village itself is a replica of the unique Croatian villages, built entirely from stone. In the evening, the students had some free time followed by their favorite disco night, filled with fun and dancing.

The following day started with a hearty breakfast before the students headed to Šibenik. A boat was awaiting their arrival, ready to take them to the enchanting St. Nicholas fortress. Additionally, they had the opportunity to explore the St. Mihovil fortress and participate in a delightful workshop where they crafted their very own windmills. Later on, they strolled through Šibenik, admiring the famous Cathedral of St. Jakov, one of Croatia's most renowned cathedrals. In the afternoon, the students engaged in organized sports activities, and in the evening, they once again enjoyed the disco.

On the final day of this enjoyable trip, the students visited the magnificent Krka National Park. They embarked on a boat ride to Skradin and had the chance to explore the park's natural wonders. Before returning to Zagreb, they took part in an organized sightseeing tour of the historic town of Skradin.

Šibenik and Solaris have always been our favorite destinations, and we eagerly look forward to visiting them again!
