This year's Croatian Book Month's theme was - Let the word not be foreign(er) to you, dedicated to translation and translators, something our students deal with everyday while cherishing the multilinguisam in our school.

With the PYP students, our school librarian Ms. Mirna Krajacic, created a small dictionary of words connected to childhood. The students had fun comparing how to say cat, dog, icecream etc. in all the languages of their class. What they have created during this workshop you can see in this small e-dictionary.

The MYP students participated in "Translation Competition" . Facing the two-member jury they did their best trying to directy translate page by page of Helen Cooper's Pumpkin Soup. We had a class winner in each class who won the special sweet prize.
