Pyp 3 along with Pyp 4 and our teachers, headed on a class trip to Rovinj, on May 6 th 2024. Shortly after we came to our destination we ate lunch, settled in to our rooms and unpacked. Also, we spent some time outside on the courts and played sports. After dinner, we had an organized time at the pool where we swam and relaxed.

On the second day, we woke up and ate breakfast. After breakfast, we went to the city called Pula. We visited the Aquarium Pula, it’s the largest aquarium in Croatia, located in Fortress Verudela. Also, we played some games outside on the field, dodgeball and badminton. Once we arrived back to the hotel, we had lunch and rested. After dinner we went to a nice walk near the hotel.

On Wednesday, after breakfast, we went to the Observatory in Višnjan. We saw some big telescopes and learned interesting facts about the Solar System. Later on that day, both of our classes, PYP 3 and 4 had a mission to clean the beach near the hotel. It felt good to make a difference by helping clean up the beach from litter and keep our Earth happy as well.

On Thursday, we took a walk around old town Rovinj. It was a beautiful day for sightseeing so, we hiked all the way to the top of the peninsula, to the baroque church of St. Euphemia which dates back to 1725. After we had lunch we headed toward Jangalooz, an adventure park. It was awesome, you could choose to try different attractions like, climbing wall, zip line and trampoline park.

On our last day, Friday, we packed our stuff and said good bye to Rovinj. On our way home we stopped at a city of Motovun. Istria is famous for delicious pasta, so we had an opportunity to make our own pasta at one of the workshops. We had lunch and headed back to Zagreb, anxious to see our parents again, telling them once again all the highlights of our memorable trip.
