Tie Day with our friends from the Centre for Autism
On the Cravat Day, October 18, nine students from the Centre for Autism came to visit our school.
They were warmly welcomed by our MYP2 and MYP3 students together with the workshop leaders, Mrs.Ivana Devernay Cimić and Mrs. Ina Tomić.
We prepared a short presentation on the cravat – a symbol of Croats, a short quiz on the glagolitic alphabet, an art workshop – decorating the cravats with glagolitic letters, as well as a cravat-tying workshop.
The students made friends quickly, and joined forces in decorating ties with glagolitic letters, answered the quiz questions, and tied one another's cravats using Count Borna knot.
It was a joyful, educational, and fun activity.
We wish to have a lot more of such get-togethers in the future, full of understanding and love.
