A Memorable Field Trip for PYP Students: A Day of Fun and Learning in Nature
On 8th October, students from PYP0 to PYP4 enjoyed a fantastic field trip filled with outdoor activities, hands-on learning, and plenty of fun. The trip featured three key events: the Forest Olympics, Little Botanist, and Little Baker, which gave the children an opportunity to explore nature and develop new skills.
The day began with the Forest Olympics, where students were divided into teams for a series of exciting outdoor games. Children of all ages had the chance to test their skills in a fun and friendly environment, fostering teamwork and building confidence as they competed and cheered for each other.
Next was the Little Botanist activity, where the students learned about local plants and their importance in the ecosystem. Each child had the chance to plant their own seedling to take home, providing a wonderful hands-on experience in caring for nature. Many students were excited to nurture their little plants and watch them grow.
The day wrapped up with the Little Baker session, where the children listened to a delightful story about traditional foods before getting to work kneading their own bread dough. Their freshly prepared dough was baked and sent home with them, giving each child a delicious souvenir from their day of learning and fun.
The 8th of October was a memorable day, full of joy and new experiences, as the students enjoyed the perfect blend of outdoor activities, creativity, and learning!
