PYP0 Learns About Healthy Lifestyles!
As part of their Healthy Lifestyle unit, our youngest learners in PYP0 explored the importance of making healthy food choices in a fun and interactive way.
The students learned about different types of healthy foods, discovering why fruits, vegetables, and other nutritious choices help keep our bodies strong and full of energy. To bring their learning to life, they got creative by making healthy fruit models out of playdough, shaping colorful apples, bananas, and strawberries!
They also worked together to build a healthy food pyramid, sorting different food items into the right categories and learning about the importance of balance in our diets. This hands-on experience helped them understand which foods should be eaten most often and which ones should be enjoyed in moderation.
Through play and teamwork, PYP0 students took an exciting step toward developing healthy habits that will last a lifetime. We are so proud of their enthusiasm for learning and making healthy choices!
