On a special day at our school, the youngest learners from PYP0 had an exciting opportunity to step back in time at a school fair held in the hallway. The fair was dedicated to exploring history, and this year’s theme focused on Matija Gubec and life in the Renaissance.

Through interactive displays and engaging activities, the children learned about the remarkable story of Matija Gubec, a historical figure known for his leadership in the Croatian-Slovene Peasant Revolt of 1573. They discovered what life was like during the Renaissance—how people dressed, what they ate, and how they worked.

We are proud of our PYP0 learners for their enthusiasm and eagerness to explore the past. This fair was just the beginning of their historical adventures, and we look forward to many more learning experiences ahead!
