Learning About Food Waste with Guest Blogger Kristina Štriga
PYP4 students recently hosted food blogger Kristina Štriga, who taught them how to reduce food waste by creating tasty recipes from leftovers.
Together, they made gummy bears from leftover juice and oranges and energy balls from overripe bananas, flour, and peanut butter. These fun, eco-friendly treats showed the students how to turn food scraps into delicious snacks.
Kristina’s visit inspired them to think creatively about sustainability and the importance of minimizing food waste in everyday life.
