Dear Parents and Students,

It is our pleasure to inform you that the recent evaluation of the PYP and MYP programmes at Matija Gubec International School has been successfully completed. Programme evaluation takes place every five years and is a mandatory process through which the International Baccalaureate ensures the continued quality and development of the programme.

According to the Evaluation Report issued by the International Baccalaureate (IB) in October 2025, our school successfully met all criteria across the required standards, practices, and programme requirements. The report is based on an analysis of the school’s self-study questionnaire and supporting documents, as well as the findings of the evaluation visit that took place from 22nd to 24th October 2025.

Our commitment to IB philosophy, the development of IB Learner Profile attributes, the promotion of international-mindedness, the dedication of our staff, and the active engagement of our students as well as our participation in the wider IB community, were identified as key strengths.

Importantly, the report also recognised the valuable partnership with our parent community, whose trust and ongoing support greatly contribute to the positive atmosphere and success of our school.
