The exhibition “Children Among the Clouds”, held from 22 October to 19 November 2025 at the Bunker Youth Centre, is the result of an art competition organised by the Prica Gallery and the Samobor Public Open University. The competition was intended for preschool children and primary school pupils from Grades 1 to 8 and was created as an accompanying programme to the major exhibition “Art in the Clouds”. Its goal was to encourage children to develop imagination, emotions, and personal perspectives through artistic expression.

A total of 440 artworks from across Croatia were submitted, and a professional jury selected the works for the exhibition.

The artworks were created under the guidance and support of Visual Arts teacher Ivana Devernay Cimić, who encouraged students to explore and express their creativity. Students interpreted the theme of clouds using the experimental printmaking technique of collagraphy, and the group created a paper-based spatial installation.

The exhibition celebrates children’s imagination and reminds us that a simple glance at the clouds can be an endless source of ideas, play, and inspiration.
