On December 16th, our school came together to celebrate Advent at Gubec, a colourful and joyful event that brought PYP and MYP students, parents, and teachers together in a warm and festive atmosphere. The celebration was filled with creativity, collaboration, and shared moments that truly captured the spirit of the season.

Families enjoyed a wide range of interactive workshops and activities, where students, parents, and teachers worked side by side, exploring their creativity and learning together.

The event also had a strong humanitarian focus. Many families contributed generously to our donation drive for the Children’s Home in Brezovica, once again showing the compassion and solidarity of our school community.

Guests could warm up at the Gubec café, where they enjoyed delicious fritule, adding an extra touch of warmth and flavour to the festive experience. Another particularly joyful moment was the Best Dressed Elf Pageant, where students took to the runway in imaginative and festive outfits, spreading laughter and holiday cheer throughout the school.

We would like to thank all students, parents, and teachers who participated and helped make Advent at Gubec a memorable celebration of togetherness, creativity, and kindness.
