STEM Club Visit to MUZZA Science Week
On 10 April 2026, MYP students from the STEM Club extracurricular activity, accompanied by teacher Mirna, attended MUZZA Science Week at the MUZZA Interpretation Centre at the University of Zagreb Rectorate. The event helps students learn more about science through fun, hands-on activities, live demonstrations, and experiments.
During the visit, we took part in many STEM activities. These included extracting DNA from strawberries, making music with fruits and vegetables using circuits, building ball tracks to learn about physics, solving geometry challenges with polygons, playing a fermentation card game, making our own coins, and many more hands-on experiments. These activities helped us connect what we learned in class with real life.
The visit showed us how science is used in the real world and made us even more interested in STEM subjects.
