PYP3 Students Make Healthy Pancakes in Homesteading Class

PYP3 Students Make Healthy Pancakes in Homesteading Class

The PYP3  students recently enjoyed a wonderful hands-on learning experience during their Homesteading class by making healthy pancakes together.

Working as a team, the students carefully measured and mixed all the ingredients while learning the importance of cooperation and communication in the kitchen. They then practiced using a frying pan to cook the crêpe-style pancakes, developing confidence and responsibility while following cooking instructions safely.

The pancakes were not only delicious but also very healthy, as they were made using nutritious spelt flour. Students were excited to try a healthier alternative and enjoyed tasting the pancakes they had created together.

This activity helped students build practical life skills, teamwork, patience, and independence, while also making learning fun and engaging. The smiles on their faces showed just how much they enjoyed the experience!
