Sea Without Borders – National Art Competition
We are proud to announce that our MYP1 student, Iva Skara, has won second place in the national art competition titled “Sea Without Borders.” The competition is intended for students from 5th to 8th grade of primary schools in the Republic of Croatia.
Under the mentorship of teacher Ivana Devernay Cimić, Iva explored the impact of microplastics on human health and the environment, conveying her message through her artwork.
The theme “Sea Without Borders” encourages creative artistic expression and reflection on the sea as a space of connection, shared heritage, and responsibility, in line with UNESCO’s goals and values.
We warmly congratulate Iva and her mentor, Ms. Ivana Devernay Cimić!
