Some journeys begin with a plane, some with a train, and some with a first step through the school gates.

On Monday, 7 September, our schoolyard once again came alive with cheerful voices, excited greetings, warm hugs, and smiling faces as our PYP students returned to school and began a new journey together.

For some students, it was a happy return to familiar classrooms, friends, and teachers. For others, especially our youngest learners, it was the beginning of a completely new adventure. There was plenty of excitement in the air as students gathered with their classes, reunited with old friends, met new ones, and took their first steps into the new school year.

The first day was a time to reconnect, get to know one another, explore new classrooms, and look forward to everything that awaits us. After a long summer break, our PYP classrooms were once again filled with curiosity, laughter, conversations, and the joy of being together.

And what a journey lies ahead!

Throughout the year, our students will ask questions, inquire, explore, create, collaborate, reflect, and take action. They will discover new things about themselves and the world around them, face new challenges, develop new skills, and learn from one another.

In the PYP, every question can be the beginning of a new discovery, every challenge an opportunity to grow, and every day a new step on our journey through the world of knowledge.

Our first steps have been taken, our classrooms are ready, and a new school year has officially begun.
