Fun Ways to Practice Scissor Skills
Learning to use scissors can be a tricky thing for some students. On the other hand some students are pretty skillful in cutting. There are a lot of prerequisite skills that a student needs before they can be successful with scissors – hand co-ordination, hand strength, eye visual tracking skills and more, and it takes time to develop these skills. Therefore, we started cutting. And gluing too! For now, we’ ve started with easier tasks. Luckily there are lots and lots of fabulous and interesting cutting activities. We will try to cover even more difficult ones. Who knows, maybe we have „Edward Scissorhands“ in the classroom. Keep you posted on progress…
