Different Jobs People Do Within Their Communities
Have you ever wondered about how many different jobs there are in the world? Why do we need to work? What skills and qualities do we need to have to do our dream jobs? What tools and equipment? What are the rights and duties of a worker?
You haven’t?
Well, we have. It is what our second Unit of Inquiry is about –
How we organize ourselves: Different jobs people do.
Since the key concepts in this Unit are form, connection and responsibility, we did our best to implement them in all of the subjects we have. By doing reading comprehension activities, playing games, sewing and doing art we have learned a lot of facts and answered many questions that we have inquired about so far. Our parents also helped with sharing their experience and giving advice about how to choose our future jobs.
One thing we know for sure – we are going to choose and do the jobs we love!
