World Storytelling Day
This year’s World Storytelling Day (March 20) we marked with a kamishibai story Not so scary dragon.
Kamishibai is a traditional form of storytelling for children, originally from Japan.
At the beginning of the last century, the narrator, gaito, cycled hand-made sweets through the villages. As a reward for the purchased candy, the children would get a kamishibai story.
Our pyp0 students did not buy sweets, but were rewarded for their diligent work at the school with a story made last year by the students who extracurricular activity Co-Art.
