Healthy Living
In the first transdisciplinary unit, our class has been inquiring about a healthy lifestyle and how it could be a smart choice.
Our students explored why it is important to make good, healthy choices when it comes to food and physical activity. There are many benefits to eating balanced meals. For instance, fruit and vegetables contain important nutrients which are needed for our body to stay healthy, like eating protein rich foods builds strong bones and teeth, while vitamin A helps us see in color.
˝Zdravoljupci˝ even visited our PE class. They helped us strengthen our knowledge about physical activity and why it is important to exercise. These healthy friends participated in a class relay.
Finally, to close the unit about health living, we made a Health Card for a friend. It tells everything we learned about healthy lifestyle including foods we should eat and avoid and why physical activity is a smart choice to stay fit.
