Novigradsko proljeće 2024

In the week from April 6th to 13th in Novigrad in Istria, the Croatian teacher Ms. Mirjana and I attended the School of Creativity called ‘Novigradsko proljeće’. It is a seven-day program featuring a common theme and offering 21 diverse workshops tailored for motivated and potentially gifted primary and high school students.

Effects of video games on teen mental health

Collaboration with the Safer Internet Centre 

On April 12th the MYP2 and MYP3 students participated in an interactive workshop ‘Effects of Video Games on Teen Mental Health’ organised by the Safer Internet Centre.

Visit to the French Institute

On the 28th of February MYP students attending French as an optional subject visited the French institute located in the centre of the town.

Students in MYP 2 class had really interesting tasks for School day.  They could

Intercultural learning

Today we had an opportunity to hear interesting facts about a country that is so close, yet it looks far away. We talked about Iraq, a country where old Mesopotamian civilisation started, a country that has one of the oldest board games in the world, and a country that had the oldest epic poem in the world.

MYP Winter Sports Field Trip

The snow has finally fallen and many opportunities for having fun in the snow arise. Going out sledging is an easy and fun way to enjoy the snow. On January 25th, the MYP2 and MYP3 students had a winter sports day in the mountainous Žumberak-Samobor Hills Nature Park.
