MYP Winter Sports Field Trip
The snow has finally fallen and many opportunities for having fun in the snow arise. Going out sledging is an easy and fun way to enjoy the snow. On January 25th, the MYP2 and MYP3 students had a winter sports day in the mountainous Žumberak-Samobor Hills Nature Park.
Buon Natale and Buone Feste!
We are always looking forward to December when our school organizes a lot of events. The MYP students, with the help of their teacher Jelena, created an Advent calendar by writing festive Christmas messages for each day of the calendar. The MYP and PYP4 students made Christmas cards out of pasta and wished everyone a Merry Christmas.

Zagreb City Tour 2023: Secret Facts About Zagreb
On November 29th we took a walking tour through the streets of Zagreb for the purpose of learning about interesting cultural-historical sights of the Upper Town and Downtown with a focus on the secret facts on Zagreb. The tour was student-led: the students in question prepared an interesting site-specific lecture ‘Secret Facts about Zagreb’.
MYP2 and MYP3 Field Trip to the Neretva Valley and Southern Dalmatia
From October 24th until 27th we went on a four-day field trip to the Neretva Valley and Southern Dalmatia. During our four-day field trip we visited the Alka of Sinj Museum and Narona Archaeological Museum, enjoyed picking tangerines and riding in traditional vessels in the Neretva River Valley, took a walking tour of the Ston Walls from Ston to Mali Ston and visited the Knin Fortress. We were accommodated at the Valamar Meteor Hotel in Makarska.
Backstage Tour of the Croatian National Theatre
On the 9th March 2023, MYP2 and MYP3 students visited the Croatian National Theatre for a backstage tour.
Following the footsteps of August Šenoa
On March 10th the MYP1 and MYP2 Croatian Language and Literature groups went on a tour called “The Footsteps of August Šenoa” visiting the locations in Zagreb centre where August Šenoa, one of the greatest Croatian novelist, lived and worked.
