Visit to the Ethnographic Museum
On December 13th the School Co-Op Team and national programme students visited the ‘Kinč is not kitsch’ exhibition at the Ethnographic Museum. First we took a tour of the Ethnographic Museum and then participated in the Kinch making workshop.
Math Night 2022
On December 1st our Maths teachers, in cooperation with the Croatian Mathematical Society, organised the Math Night in our school. Apart from getting a chance to solve fun mathematical tasks, the goal of Math Night is to spend pleasant informal time socializing with students and their parents.
Zagreb City Riddle Tour
On November 24th we took a walking tour through the streets of Zagreb. We needed to solve fun location-based riddles and clues to find our way around Zagreb's sights while learning about cultural-historical sights of the Upper Town and Downtown with a focus on the people behind street names.
Interliber visit
On November 10th six MYP1 students accompanied by our school librarian Ms. Mirna Ćurković visited the largest literary event in Croatia - Interliber.
International Community Day 2022
International Community Day is an amazing day for all of us at MGIS! We are so glad to have International Community Day back this year, because it has been three years since it was last held.
Field Trip to Dalmatia
From October 19th to 21st we went on a three-day field trip to Dalmatia. During this field trip we explored the cultural-historical sights of the towns of Šibenik and Trogir, participated in traditional olive picking and making olive oil, and enjoyed a variety of workshops in the Dalmatian Ethno Village.
